How It Works

Illinois Compliance
Payment Policy
In accordance with 225 ILCS 454/10-15, all referral fee payments are made directly to the referring agent's Sponsoring/Managing Broker. No direct payments can be made to individual licensees.
Disclosure Requirement
Agents must disclose this referral fee in their written brokerage agreements with clients, as required under the updated 2025 Illinois Real Estate License Act and Article 6 of the NAR Code of Ethics. We provide a disclosure template for your convenience.
RESPA Compliance
Moving services are generally classified as non-settlement services under RESPA, as they occur after the real estate transaction closes. This referral fee is a bona fide compensation for an actual client introduction.
Illinois Only
This program is available exclusively to real estate professionals licensed in the State of Illinois. Other states (IN, WI, MN) have restrictions that prohibit this type of arrangement.
